About Me

Growing up in Sydney's southwest I learnt very quickly Australia is a multicultural country. My neighbours, and my peers in and out of school all came from different ethnicities with different beliefs, morals, and customs – and this fascinated me. I realised even if you live in the same street as someone, your worlds could be vastly different. And I am a person who loves to ask why? How does that make you feel? My passion lies in people and their perspectives.

The wider public often forgets that without journalists we wouldn’t really know what is going on around us.  Who would investigate the social qualms of life? Or tell you what’s going on in your neighbourhood? Local, rural, national and international news is vital for our existence.

Nurses save lives, lawyers fight for justice, and journalists keep you in the loop!
